My Story

Meet Melissa Pipkin, RDN

“I have over two decades of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in a variety of health care settings, I love helping people find a happy and healthy relationship with food. Nourishing YOU Nutrition was founded so that I can use a holistic approach to nutrition education.  When you work with me, I don’t just take into account your diet—I look at all the components that comprise your life: sleep, stress, exercise, environment, lifestyle, health, etc. Looking at these factors allows me to best figure out what exactly is going on and from there develop a personalized nutrition plan that is completely tailored to your specific needs.”

Melissa understands that access to healthy and nutritious foods is a privilege to many.  This past year was especially challenging. Many more families and children experienced food insecurity and hunger.  Melissa is committed to doing what she can to make a positive impact by volunteering at a local food bank on a weekly basis and giving 10% of her net profits to Kids Aid each quarter.

What Does a Dietitian Do?

What does a Registered Dietitian do?  Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts, translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living.  As a Registered Dietitian, Melissa has the expertise, training and credentials to help you make positive lifestyle choices.
